The aim of the article is to present the amendments to the directive concerning the posting of workers in the framework of the provision of services, made the Directive 2018/957 of 28 June 2018, describes their origin and purpose, and at the same time confronts tchem with the allegations made by the Polish and Hungarian governments in proceedings C-626/18 and C-620/18 seeking the annulment of key provisions of Directive 2018/957 or the Directive as a whole, as well as the literature's previous views on the changes introduced in the institution of posting of workers.
