Global marketing strategy and its influence on international firms performance
One of the fundamental proposition of international marketing theory is that global marketing strategy (GMS) implemented by a firm has a positive influence on its performance. In global marketing literature there is a lack of empirical support that GMS effects a firms' financial and market performance. In this paper two main research propositions has been presented. In structural model of GMS we can find evidences that global market participation, product and promotion standardization, competitive leverage are to influence positively company sales, net incomes and ROI. In second model, there has been proved that strategic fit among strategy, structure, and processes also effects multinational corporation performance, especially ROI and cash flow indices.

Integrated marketing in process approach - the latest concepts review
Contemporary theories, grounded on relationship marketing paradigm, have been concerning marketing integration issues. They have indicated, that companies' marketing efficiency depends on capabilities at integrating that philosophy within the business processes, both in internal dimension (integration of marketing and other traditional functions) and external one (integration within the network of partners, including customer). Although those theories are similar at perceiving marketing as business management concept and relating it to process orientation, there are some differences as far the subjective and objective dimensions of its integration. The aim of the paper is to present detailed assumptions of the concepts, which are concerned to be important in the context of integrated marketing in process approach theory development. Those are the holistic marketing and totally integrated marketing concepts, which haven't been widely described in Polish literature yet, and already known, value-based marketing concept, which is closely related to customer equity management, the research direction which has been dynamically intensified in marketing.

The negotiations as a process of self-learning organizations
The description presented a new insight into the negotiations as a tool supporting process of self-learning organizations through transformation of individual knowledge into the organizational one. The negotiations which become to be an area of information exchange between sides, contribute to the fact that organizations are learning, which means creating, understanding, and spreading the knowledge. Considerations were illustrated with the results of the own research basing on the experiment, which aim was to define the process of learning when negotiating and 'propensity' of the participants in the range of transferring their knowledge (individual) to other team members.

Osobowościowe podłoże skłonności do zakupów kompulsywnych

Personality and compulsive buying tendency
The purpose of the present study was to establish the influence of traits from the Five-Factor Model of personality on the compulsive buying tendency. The Polish version of NEO-FFI scale and Compulsive Buying Scale were used in the research. The results revealed the negative relation between agreeableness, conscientiousness, extraversion and the tendency to compulsive buying. The study also confirmed gender role - women were mainly inclined to compulsive buying.

Determinanty wyboru produktów żywnościowych
W badaniach podjęto problem określenie atrybutów żywności i zdefiniowania pojęcia jakości produktów żywnościowych oraz ocenę rynkowej pozycji wybranych marek produktów mleczarskich. Wysoka jakość produktu stanowi podstawowe kryterium wyboru żywności. Produkty żywnościowe o wysokiej jakości cechują walory zdrowotne i organoleptyczne.

Forma konkurencji a rynkowa efektywność reklamy

The form of competition vs. market effectiveness of advertising
The paper presents theoretical considerations and results of empirical research on effectiveness of advertising depending on the form of competition. In the theoretical part of the paper oligopolistic and monopolistic competition was discussed in the context of firm attitude towards using advertising as a tool of competing, as well as, a brief review of selected models explaining effectiveness of advertising was made. Also, microeconomic approach to formal criterion for choosing optimal level of advertising was enlightened and limitations of using this concept in assessing effectiveness of advertising from the firm market position perspective were pointed out. The market effectiveness of advertising was defined and hypothesis was formulated that such effectiveness depends on the form of competition. This hypothesis was empirically verified using Jones model on the example of domestic markets for chocolate and coffee differing in the form of competition and levels of advertising expenditures. The existing relations between the firm's shares of voices and theirs shares of markets, and estimated advertising intensive curves confirmed hypothesis that form of competition influence significantly the market effectiveness of advertising, which appeared to be lover in case of the oligopolistic market for chocolate.
