PWE Online Book Store Regulations operating under Web address www.pwe.com.pl is owned by Polskie Wydawnictwo Ekonomiczne Spółka Akcyjna (Polish Economic Publishers Joint Stock Company) having its seat in Warsaw, at Podwale 17 app. 2, entered into the register of entrepreneurs kept by the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw, in Warsaw, 12th Commercial Department of the National Court Register with the number KRS 0000031954, REGON 010686685, NIP 526-10-05-453, phone no. 22 826 41 82, hereinafter referred to as PWE. 

PWE Online Book Store involves in sales through the following channels: 
- the Internet via its website www.pwe.com.pl
- e-mail: ksiegarnia@pwe.com.pl
Orders may be placed in 24/7 mode, all year round. Orders placed on working days after 12.00 PM, as well on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are processed on the nearest working day. 
Filling the order form is an essential condition for the order to be processed. Wrongly filled order forms shall not be processed. The ordering party shall be informed on the order being accepted by phone or via e-mail. Orders not successfully confirmed during 48 hours shall not be processed further. Once confirmed, an order cannot be cancelled. 
Prices of all goods on offer in the store are expressed in Polish Zloty (PLN) inclusive of VAT. Every consignment is accompanied by VAT invoice serving as the confirmation of purchase. Payment made by the Buyer is an essential condition for the transaction to be concluded. 
Time of execution of order in PWE bookstore is 2 working days; the remaining delivery time depends on the delivery company. Polskie Wydawnictwo Ekonomiczne shall not bear responsibility for any extended delivery time resulting from circumstances beyond its control, e.g. due to the courier company. 
Costs of delivery depend upon the form of payment and the form of delivery chosen by the Buyer while placing the order. 

Forms of delivery avaliable on the territory of Poland: 
Payment in advance, delivery by a courier company: PLN 14.00 (in Poland).
Where the Buyer collects the consignment at the Publisher’s seat in Warsaw within 7 days from completion of the, the cost is PLN 0.00 (address: Warsaw, ul. Podwale 17 app. 2, only after prior appointment (phone no. 602 733 682 or e-mail ksiegarnia@pwe.com.pl)

Orders whose value is over PLN 250 shall be delivered at the cost of PWE.

Returns and complaints. It is possible to waive the purchase without stating any reason, within 14 calendar days from the date of collection of goods, by placing an appropriate declaration in writing and sending the consignment (at the Buyer’s cost) back to the Publisher. We emphasise that in order to return the goods this way it is essential to contact us on the phone in order to agree the conditions of return. Goods must be returned in condition indicating it has not been used. The return of the money paid (including the price of books plus the cost of delivery chosen) shall be made in the form agreed with the Buyer. Complaints are processed within 14 working days from the day the goods in question were accepted by the Seller. 

For its Readers, Polskie Wydawnictwo Ekonomiczne has established the Readers Club (Klub Książki PWE). 
Membership in the Club gives access to the following conveniences and benefits: 
- quick shopping – by filling the order form you are automatically logged in the system, so on your next shopping you don’t need to fill in all your data again; 
- discount shopping – a discount of 20% for all the Club members who have accepted the membership rules; one-off transaction for the value above PLN 200.00 benefit from free delivery (via a courier company);
- information on our offer - what’s new, promotions, competitions – we send our full updated information to your e-mail address filled during the initial registration in the system. 
All it takes to become member of our Readers Club is to fill the form http://www.pwe.com.pl/?body=register including your e-mail address and password. At that moment all data are automatically recorded. Personal data are protected pursuant to the Act of August 29, 1997 on the Protection of Personal Data (Journal of Laws no. 133, item 883) in a manner preventing third parties access. Subject to the above Act, a Club member has the right to inspect his or her personal data, to modify or to delete them (the latter being equivalent with ending the membership in the Club).

Cookie policy: 
PWE Online Book Store is not collecting any sort of data automatically, except for the information contained in cookie files. Cookies are IT data, including in particular text files that are stored on the end devices of users of PWE Online Book Store and are used to facilitate browsing its webpages. Most cookies contain the name of the website they originate from, state the time they are stored on the end device and bear their individual unique number.

Cookies are used to: 
- adapt the contents of the PWE Online Book Store website to user preferences and optimise the browsing process; in particular, cookies enable recognition of the user’s device and display the website accordingly, adapted to the user’s individual needs, 
- create statistics that enable us to understand how our users browse through webpages, thus allowing us to improve their structure and contents, 
- support the browsing session of the PWE Online Book Store user (following logging in), so the user needs not fill the login and password repeatedly on every new page/screen.
Basically, PWE Online Book Store uses two types of cookies: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary files that are stored on the user’s end device only until logging out, leaving a website or turning off the software (browser). Persistent cookies, instead, are stored on the user’s end device for an indefinite time specified in the cookies’ parameters, or until they are deleted by the user. 
In PWE Online Book Store uses the following types of cookies are used: “essential” cookies that enable the use of services offered by PWE Online Book Store, e.g. authentication cookies used for services requiring authentication, security cookies used to ensure web security, for example to detect abuse in authentication to PWE Online Book Store, “efficiency” cookies that enable collection of information about ways of browsing through PWE Online Book Store’s website, “functional” cookies that enable “remembering” of user-selected settings and personalisation of user interface, “commercial” cookies that enable to provide users with advertising contents better adapted to their interests,

PWE informs that any restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some functionalities available on PWE Online Book Store’s web pages. Protection of personal data. 
As data administrator, PWE takes the utmost care for the security of personal data provided by Buyers. All data are secured against third parties unauthorised access. Through registration in the PWE Online Book Store’s system, made in order to make any purchase of goods, the buyer’s personal data are placed and stored in the database. The data may be processed by PWE only with relation to execution of the order. Additionally, Customer may (or not) accept data processing for marketing purposes (see Paragraph 9). Personal data are protected in line with the Act of August 29, 1997 on the Protection of Personal Data (Journal of Laws no. 133, item 883) in a manner preventing third parties’ access. According to that Act, Customers of PWE Online Book Store have the right to inspect and modify their data as well as to request the Bookstore to cease their further use. However, PWE shall bear no responsibility for any orders placed by third parties who use a Customer’s e-mail address and password without his/her knowledge or approval. 

Personal data processing. 
Personal data acquired from Buyers in relation with conclusion of the sales contract (including creation of the account in the bookstore) shall be processed for the following purposes: 
- sale and delivery of products offered by PWE, 
- analyses and statistics as well as for the needs of PWE’ routine commercial activities, 
- archiving, 
- performance of marketing activities undertaken by PWE Online Book Store independently or in collaboration with other bodies, 
- answering letters, e-mails and phone calls. 
Where a Buyer approves so, data are also processed in order to provide information on new products, services and/or promotions offered by PWE, via a newsletter. You have the right to withdraw such approval at any time. 
Moreover, you have the following rights: 
- to request access to personal data relating to you, 
= to correct any such data,
= to request completion of incomplete personal data, including through presentation of an additional declaration, 
- to delete the data or to restrict the scope of their processing, 
- to bring objection against further processing of your personal data, 
- to move your personal data. 
A period over which your personal data are processed depends on the purpose of their processing. The period during which your personal data will be stored is calculated basing on the following criteria: 
legal provisions that may oblige PWE to process the data for some definite time (e.g. the Accountancy Act): 
- the period of execution of the purchase-sale contract, 
- the period necessary for defence of an Administrator’s interests, 
- the period for which the Customer accepted to receive information via a newsletter. 
Personal data are not made available to any third persons for marketing purposes. However, the data may be made available to the following bodies: 
- courier companies and postal services entrusted with delivery to you 
- PayU S.A. having its seat in Poznań, KRS 0000274399, ul. Grunwaldzka 182, 60-166 Poznań – to enable the processing of payments.

This version of the regulations shall become valid and applicable on December 31, 2022. In any matters not regulated hereunder relevant provisions of the Civic Code and of the Act of 27 July on Detailed Conditions of Consumer Sale and on the Amendment of the Civil Code and of the Act of 2 March 2002 on the Protection of Certain Consumer Rights and on the Responsibility for Damages Done by Hazardous Products shall apply. A court competent to recognise and settle any potential disputes as may result from sale contracts or in relation herewith shall be a court competent in terms of site and subject matter for the seat of the owner of PWE Online Book Store.
