Potencjalna prosumpcja etnocentryczna w kontekście znajomości istoty etnocentryzmu konsumenckiego
Agnieszka Izabela Baruk

Znajomość pojęcia etnocentryzm miała bowiem znaczenie, jeśli chodzi o zakres i strukturę oczekiwań respondentów dotyczących ofert marketingowych. Segment potencjalnych etnocentrycznych prosumentów występował ponadto tylko wśród respondentów znających wspomniane pojęcie.

Słowa kluczowe: etnocentryzm konsumencki, prosumpcja, etnocentryczna prosumpcja, świadomość rynkowa

Potential ethnocentric prosumption in the context of knowledge of essence of consumer ethnocentrism

In the article the problems of potential ethnocentric prosumption are presented. The visible knowledge gap and research gap in this scope are underlined. Prosumption and consumer ethnocentrism are analysed separately. The readiness to involve to preparing offer and to others marketing activities in the case of domestic offers and offerers is not studied. In the research part two hypotheses showing relations between the both categories are empirically verified. The results of the questionnaire research are statistically analysed. The factor analysis is applied to two groups of respondents: correctly interpreting consumer ethnocentrism and wrong interpreting this category. It allows to indicate in the case of the both groups segments based on expectations towards offers, as well as to conduct comparative analysis of the character and the inter structure of these segments. The results show that the both formulated hypotheses shouldn’t be rejected. The knowledge about essence of consumer ethnocentrism has the meaning in the relations to the scope and structure of respondents’ expectations towards marketing offers. The segment of potential ethnocentric prosumers can be isolated only among respondents knowing the essence of ethnocentrism.

Main actors in the technology transfer supporting knowledge commercialization

Universities have a different impact on increasing innovativeness and productivity in the regions they are localized in. It can be caused by many factors. It is important to stress that the entrepreneurial potential of some locations can be much stronger than in others (Van Praag, Versloot, 2007). Among those determinants some examples can be enumerated such as: easier access to assets (not only material but also personal or financial ones), favorable political environment, abundant offer of entrepreneurship programmes or networking with stakeholders. Universities are building new knowledge by fulfilling its’ scientific and didactic activities. On the other hand, thanks to introducing new technological solutions by research and development (R&D) departments in companies new innovative goods or services can be created. It is a system where the undertaken activities are influencing each other and as a consequence the feedback can be constantly received by both sides. The problem of building relations between universities and companies, its dimensions and scope have been largely analyzed on the theoretical and empirical basis (Romer, 1990, Audretsch, Feldman, 1996, Audretsch, Lehmann, 2005). They show, among other things, that universities’ proximity influences more significantly on companies’ innovative behaviors. On the other hand, conductive legal and economical environment encourages firms to more risky usage of accessible assets. Each university posses a different potential, which can be bound with various factors and circumstances. The degree to which a university can be described as entrepreneurial depends not only on its’ organizational structure. More important are the possibilities it offers to its’ employees to work not only on scientific and didactic field, but also on the commercial one. The success lays in the mutual feedback among those three aspects, which can lead to creating new path dependencies.

Wartość informacyjna domeny internetowej
Karol Król, Dariusz Zdonek, Julia Gorzelany

Witryny internetowe bywają skutecznym kanałem promocji i sprzedaży produktów i usług w sieci. Badania przeprowadzono w zbiorze 17 witryn internetowych podmiotów świadczących usługi z zakresu tworzenia witryn i aplikacji sieciowych. Informacje o abonentach i rejestratorach domen pozyskano z bazy danych Naukowej i Akademickiej Sieci Komputerowej (NASK).

Information value of Internet domain

Web sites tend to be an effective channel to promote and sell products and services in the network. They are also used for illegal activities. Analysis of the history of the domain and get acquainted with the subscriber data may be useful for verifying the reliability of the counterparty and determine the profitability of investments in the domain name. The article describes the results of an experiment that tries to assess the reliability of the counterparty and the merits of investing in a domain name, based on the data available in a public database of subscribers of Internet domains and based on the analysis of the history of the domain. The study was conducted in a set of 17 websites of providers of services for creating websites and web applications. Information about subscribers and readers domains obtained from a database provided by the Research and Academic Computer Network (NASK). History of the sites examined using the network application Wayback Machine, provided by the American independent Internet library Internet Archive. In conclusion, it has been shown that the analysis of the data available in the public register of subscribers of Internet domains does not allow for a clear assessment of the credibility of the contractor, and the analysis of the history of the domain stored in the archives of the Internet can determine the legitimacy of the reservation of the domain name.

Rola consumer insight w zarządzaniu relacjami z klientem — studium przypadku
