Doctor of Law, assistant professor at the Faculty of Law and Communication in Wrocław (SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities). The subject of her research interests is the issues of medical law, particularly providing health services for minor patient, medical professionals' rights and obligations and providing healthcare services by a physician through telemedicine. Author of more than twenty publications, including the monograph entitled: The Civil Law Environment for Providing Healthcare Services by w Physician through telemedicine in Polish Law (2022). She was a participant in the Programme in European Private Law for Postgraduates. Also, she received funding under the National Science Centre's competition (MINIATURA 5).

This article is devoted to the legal regulations regarding the training leave of a doctor performs his profession based on a labor employment relationship in the light of the Act of 5th December 1996 on the Doctor and Dentist Professions. Continuing professional development is integrally related to the proper pursuit of the medical profession. The author points out and characterizes the legal framework for training leave both the stage of postgraduate education and professional development.
