On the initiative of prof. Tomasz Duraj, on 7 December 2023 at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Łódź and on the TEAMS platform, 6th National Scientific Conference of the Non-typical employment relations was held on the topic 'The development of modern technologies and labour law and social insurance law – challenges for the future'. The conference was organised by the Centre for Atypical Employment Relations of the Faculty of Law of the University of Łódź, the Students' Forum for Atypical Employment Relations of the Faculty of Law of the University of Łódź and the District Labor Inspectorate in Łódź. The conference was attended by nearly 40 panellists. Stationary at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lodz was attended by nearly 90 people, and there were over 300 participants online. The event was covered by the honorary patronage of: Rector of the University of Łódź, the Chief Labour Inspector, the President of the Social Insurance Institution, the Federation of Polish Entrepreneurs, the LEWIATAN Confederation, the All-Poland Alliance of Trade Unions and the Polish Social Insurance Association. On December 1–2, 2022 on the TEAMS platform, the 5nd National Scientific Conference of the "Non-typical employment relations" series was held on the subject of "The use of atypical forms of employment in violation of labor law and social security law – diagnosis and prospects for the future". The conference was organized by the Centre of Atypical Employment Relationships and Student Forum of Atypical Employment Relationships, operating at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lodz and the District Labour Inspectorate in Lodz. This conference was held under the honorary patronage of: Rector of the University of Lodz, Chief National Labour Inspectorate, President of the Social Insurance Institution and social partners – the LEWIATAN Confederation and the OPZZ Trade Union Confederation.

On December 8–9, 2021 on the ZOOM platform,the 4nd National Scientific Conference of the Atypical employment relations series was held on the subject of "In search of a legal model of self-employment protection in Poland". The conference was organized by the Center of Atypical Employment Relations and Student Forum of Atypical Employment Relations operating at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lodz. 228 people registered for the conference. The event was attended by 55 speakers, both in plenary sessions and in the poster session. On the second day of this conference, was separate panel for doctoral students and students. It was the biggest national scientific conference on labour law in 2021.
