A graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Military University of Technology in Warsaw and the Warsaw School of Management – University of Warsaw. He completed postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. In 2011, he obtained the powers of a state examiner in the field of driving license categories A and B. In the years 2003–2018 he was employed in the Military Police. Associated with the Prevention Division, where he dealt with road traffic issues. From 2018, he was employed at the Military University of Technology as a battalion commander. He participated many times in the conferences of prevention of safety in road traffic of Armed Forces vehicles and as a judge in the finals for the title of the best driver of the Armed Forces. Author of scientific publications devoted to issues related to road traffic, its safety and legislative solutions. He was an advisory member of the Working Team of the National Road Safety Council for the development of legal changes aimed at improving road safety in Poland and a member of the commission for examining claims for damages caused by foreign troops, appointed by the Minister of National Defense. Member of the Polish Maintenance Society.

The aim of the article is to indicate the difference between a publicly available forecasting indicator used in supplier planning and one created specifically for a given company. The authors based on the results of comparative research in the operation of chain stores, forecasting deliveries and their value with the use of various systems supporting the forecasting of product supply. A research hypothesis was adopted that reliable forecasts are crucial in improving order fulfillment and are an important factor influencing customer satisfaction and gaining a competitive advantage.
