PhD, associate professor. A graduate of the Wrocław University of Economics. Currently, she is the Head of the Department of Production Engineering and Logistics at the Faculty of Technical and Economic Sciences of Collegium Witelona State University. She has participated in implementing many projects the European Union co-financed. She promotes many diploma theses, whose authors are awarded in numerous competitions. She supervises projects implemented in cooperation with external stakeholders (employers) as transfer projects. She is a co-author of the Innovative Education Program for the 5th level. She is the deputy chairman of the Polish Production Management Society – Lower Silesian branch.

 

In the era of increasing customer requirements, significant problems are shortening the order fulfillment cycle and lowering prices. For this purpose, the analysis of the warehousing process is carried out, and rational warehouse management facilitates order picking and also reduces costs. In the article, the author presents a warehouse management system based on the example of the Polish bus manufacturer, Zakłady Samochodowe Jelcz SA. The article is based on information collected during numerous meetings and interviews with the employees of ZS Jelcz.
