Prokrastynacja zawodowa – analiza uwarunkowań
Niniejszy artykuł poświęcony jest analizie prokrastynacji, którą uznaje się za kwintesencję niepowodzeń samoregulacji. Skoncentrowano się na prokrastynacji zawodowej, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem roli menedżera. Omówiono uwarunkowania prokrastynacji (przede wszystkim psychologiczne), jej przejawy i konsekwencje. Charakterystyka ta została udokumentowana stosownymi wynikami badań (wykorzystano przede wszystkim publikacje zamieszczone w bazie EBSCO). Podkreślono wyzwania, przed którymi stają menedżerowie w zakresie zapobiegania prokrastynacji zarówno u siebie, jak i u członków zespołów. Artykuł kończy się opartymi na dowodach naukowych wskazówkami, jak zapanować nad negatywnymi skutkami prokrastynacji. Mogą być one wykorzystane przez przedstawicieli profesji menedżerskiej.
