Dr Dominik Wajda, employed in the Supreme Court — initially as an assistant judge in the
Chamber of Labour, Social Security and Public Affairs, and then as a specialist of the
Department of Studies and Analysis delegated to the Chamber of Labour and Social Security.
Lecturer at the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Warsaw, conducting trainings for legal
adviser trainees in the field ofsocial security law. Author of publications on labour law, social
security law, constitutional law and civil procedure.

The article discusses specific normative solutions that have recently been introduced into legal circulation due to the spreading COVID-19 pandemic. They concern issues involving the exercise of entitlement to certain social benefits financed from public funds. Attention was drawn to the need for the legislator to clarify the wording of the new provisions due to interpretation doubts arising in this respect.
