Associate Professor at the War Studies University at the Institute of Logistics at the Department of Logistics Basis. His has scientific achievements in the field of social sciences in the discipline of security science as well as management and quality, taking into account the issues of logistics, especially related to the processes of supply logistics and warehouse management of economic and military entities, state energy security and military logistics. A significant part of his scientific and didactic interests is supply logistics (supplies, the possibility of obtaining) and warehouse management (inventories, storage, availability, distribution) as an economic and defence practice related to the integration of economic and military logistics theory and practice.

The subject of research presented in the article are the processes taking place in the national security environment, determining the need to strengthen defence capabilities in terms of protecting critical infrastructure facilities of the state. The purpose of the research is to check, verify and evaluate the functioning of the critical infrastructure protection system of the state and to demonstrate the need for its protection in the light of possible threats. From the opinions of experts in the field of national security, a research hypothesis emerges, which shows that despite taking multidirectional actions, the state administration operating at many organizational levels is not able to foresee all the threats that lie in wait for critical infrastructure facilities. Empirical research methods were used in the study: analysis and criticism of the literature, desk research and a diagnostic survey conducted using the interview technique with experts and military analysts. From the theoretical methods, the following were used: analysis, synthesis, and inference methods. The conducted research shows that there are premises to ensure that critical infrastructure facilities are effectively protected against harmful and destructive intentional or random actions. The problem in ensuring proper protection of critical infrastructure is the fact that they are a relatively accessible and easy target for terrorist attacks, sabotage groups or special groups. Therefore, steps should first be taken to identify which facilities and systems constitute critical infrastructure of strategic, regional and local importance.

The modern packaging market is one of the largest and most developing industries on a global scale. Packaging is a very important element of the product itself, it plays a significant role in the efficient flow of goods. The logistic functions fulfilled by the packaging guarantee an optimal and harmonious flow of materials through each link of the supply chain.

Packaging generates a huge amount of waste, which deteriorates the condition of the natural environment. Waste accompanies all phases of the supply chain, from the acquisition of raw materials, through production, distribution and sale, and consumption, to the disposal of used packaging. Proper packaging management, the process of recycling, disposal, transport, storage, and segregation have a huge impact on the environment. Nowadays, the customer places great emphasis on environmentally-friendly production, products that have been produced in an "ecological" production process increase sales and have greater value for the customer, and thus the customer is able to pay more for a given product. This type of approach forces the production company to take into account the ecological aspect when designing packaging. It consists in a detailed analysis of the entire life cycle of the packaging, from the moment of purchasing raw materials to the end of the product's life.

Including the topic of ecology in the area of logistics emphasizes the interdependence of logistics and the natural environment. The concept of a green supply chain, which in fact is difficult to achieve, is based on the assumption of "zero waste". For this purpose, when designing products, it is assumed the maximum use of materials and the possibility of their re-use by recycling, giving the products a "second life".

The aim of the article is to present the evolution of packaging ecology and the impact of consumer requirements on their development.

Trade in Poland has been changing dynamically for many years. This state of affairs was largely influenced by the increasing access to the Internet, and hence the emergence of new opportunities for concluding commercial transactions without direct contact between the seller and the customer. Facilitations related to selling and buying are not the only advantages of the increasingly important e-commerce. Along with the increasing number of transactions, the dynamic development is noted in logistics, without which no type of trade could exist. It is about both the transport of goods and the flow of information that, thanks to the use of the Internet, quickly reach the customer from the seller.

Institutional economics appeared in the United States over a hundred years ago. American economists, unlike European economists, focused their attention to a small extent on theoretical considerations, while they focused more intensively on drawing certain conclusions that would have practical application in economic policy. In institutional terms, logistics is associated with the aspect of the organizational integration of logistic activities, and in the national economy it functions according to several strategies. The main determinants of its operation are sets of methods and theories, which play an important role in logistics.

The aim of the article is to identify and analyze the impact of economic determinants of logistics functioning in the national economy in the approach of institutional economy. The main research problem of the article is an attempt to answer the question: "What economic determinants determine the functioning of logistics in the national economy?".

The transport and the movement of forces are the elements of all sorts of the armed forces activities. The movement control plays a significant role in the command and control (C2) process. It is an integral part of C2 process and it consists of planning, organizing, leadership and control realised by a set of forces using all available resources for assuring the safe, efficient and economical movement. The ability of forces movement, in order to fulfil the whole spectrum of their functions and tasks, is crucial for the efficiency of future national and multinational operations. The ability of transport and movement regards the whole set of the Polish Armed Forces tasks in both contemporary and expected security environment.

The aim of this paper is to identify the rules and procedures of the Polish Armed Forces movement on the public roads in the peacetime.
