The article addresses the issue of violence in the world of work in the light of ILO Convention No. 190. The research objective assumed by the author is to analyze the nature and limits of the employer's control rights. Considerations focus on the issue of abusing the employer's control rights as a form of violence addressed to the employee. The author assumes that the ratification of ILO Convention No. 190 would contribute to increasing the scope of legal protection of the employee against all forms of violence in the world of work, including those involving the subjection the employee to control.

The article addresses the issue of providing the employer with personal data regarding disability by employees. Regulations for personal data protection, labour law and those related to the legal status of disabled persons were analyzed.

The Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018 (J.L. of 2018 Item 1000) introduced new provisions to the Labour Code, art. 222 and 223, specifying the rules on employee monitoring. These regulations are groundbreaking, as so far the issue has not been, in principle, the subject of interest of the Polish legislator. Particular attention was paid to the employee’s official email control, although there are some objections to the adopted regulations. The article contains an analysis of regulations regarding the mentioned form of monitoring.
