Autonomous transport is one of the main trends in the development of urban mobility. In Poland, this area is relatively poorly studied, partly because of the small number of implemented projects. So, do autonomous vehicles have a chance to become more frequent sight on Polish streets? The authors of this publication have two objectives. The first is to assess plans and measures undertaken to implement autonomous transport in Polish cities. The second aim of the publication is to define further perspectives for the development of autonomous transport in Polish cities. The basis of the survey was formulated as the following research problems: What is the level of advancement of autonomous transport implementation in Polish cities? What is the interest by the authorities of Polish cities (local government units) in the subject of autonomous transport? The authors decided to use triangulation of studies. On the one hand, hard data were collected (by analysing the strategic documents of cities), on the other – a survey was conducted. The survey itself collected information about the measures implemented as well as more subjective and prognostic elements related to the "opinions" of Polish cities on autonomous transport. Activities for the implementation of autonomous transport in Polish cities are at a low level. The study shows that the road to autonomous vehicles in public transport in Polish cities is still a long way off: their experience in implementing such innovative projects is very scarce, mostly because benefits of implementing modern technologies in public transport are not really perceived, while a lot of organisational and financial barriers are obvious.

Currently companies are facing the need to improve the efficiency of logistics processes by providing up-to-date information about storage and transport conditions to their customers. This necessitates the use of the Internet of Things (IoT) as well as processing and analysing large data sets. The authors asked themselves about the effects of implementation of IoT sensors which was the reason for taking up this topic. The authors put forward a hypothesis: The use of IoT sensors can positively affect the work and reduce costs in the company. To verify this hypothesis two objectives have been adopted. The first, of a theoretical nature, consists in setting out the definitional framework and possibilities of using the IoT in supply chain management. The second, of a practical nature, concerns the presentation of the implementation of the IoT and determining the potential effects and benefits for Raben Group. One of the most important achievements of this article is a literature review on the effects of IoT implementation. The implementation of IoT technology in Raben Group has allowed for achieving business results such as: increasing data quality, freeing employees from monotonous work, increasing system redundancy, increasing supply chain transparency and reducing costs. The article is an original approach to the effects of implementation of IoT sensors by indicating ones which are the most common in the literature as well as those observed by Raben Group.

Enterprises striving to maximize the efficiency of the supply chain operation should strive to balance it. However, very often a big barrier for enterprises is the observance of sustainable development practices while ensuring better financial results. In recent years, the importance of modern solutions consistent with the idea of sustainable development and using artificial intelligence in increasing the efficiency of supply chain management has also increased. Hence, two goals were adopted. The first one, of a theoretical nature, consists in determining the possibilities of supporting the implementation and development of sustainable supply chain management with the use of artificial intelligence technology. The second, of a practical nature, concerns the presentation of ways to improve the finances of the supply chain achieved with the use of modern solutions for their management — implementation with the use of SSCM (sustainable supply chain management) and AI (artificial intelligence) on the example of the Polish clothing company using omnichannel. The case study showed that by deploying AI, supply chain leaders can more easily improve all key dimensions of sustainability, especially in the strategic area, based on strengthening partnerships and collaboration with suppliers offering value-added materials that provide a competitive advantage.

The dynamic development of the logistic market in Poland has influenced the development of
numerous logistic centers that perform complex functions and tasks. Logistic centers have become a
relatively new but important element of the national economic industrial landscape. The location and
development of these facilities are related to specific conditions. The aim of the paper is to present
the essence of logistic centers as special economic facilities and their functions and tasks, as well as
locations related conditions and factors favouring their set up. Based on these, a comparative
analysis has been carried out focusing on three selected logistic centers located in the Poznań
agglomeration but of varied characteristics in order to verify previous theoretical considerations. The
results and conclusions from the analysis are of an utilitarian nature. They also point to the important
role played by logistic centers, in strengthening the market position of companies.
