The pandemic disrupted traditional supply chains and world trade deeper than other crises in the recent past. In a complex business environment, companies need to rethink and redesign their supply chains for the resilience and flexibility they need. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to identify trends and logistic solutions that should be considered in order to skillfully navigate in the new reality. Based on the literature review and the experiences of enterprises, the role and importance of resilience and risk management in ensuring the efficiency and transparency of supply chains will be indicated.

This study is aimed to explain the relationship between Human Resource Management (HRM) capabilities and Supply Chain Performance in the textile and apparel industry and to determine the mediating role of Process Innovation (PI), which improves supply chain processes in this relationship. Two research models were introduced in the study. Hypotheses belonging to research models have been developed. Structural equation modelling was applied to test the hypotheses. The sample area of the research consists of textile and apparel companies operating in Turkey. The research level is at the executive level. HRM capabilities significantly affect SC performance in the textile and apparel industry. In addition, it was concluded that PI has a full mediating effect on the HRM-SC performance relationship. It has been determined that PI applications contribute to increasing efficiency in supply chain management processes and performance and support the development of HRM capabilities.

The aim of the article is to use the Data Envelopment Analysis method to determine the efficiency of the road freight transport sectors in EU countries. The DEA method is a multidimensional efficiency tool that allows researchers to compare multiple effects with multiple inputs. As part of the research, the DEA model aimed at maximizing the effects was calculated. The outputs included: turnover of the road transport sector and payload-distance (tonne-kilometers), while the inputs included: employment; length of road network; energy consumption; registered trucks. Research results show that 10 out of 28 analyzed transport sectors in the EU were efficient. For ineffective sectors, based on the concept of benchmarking, changes in the level of effects have been proposed.

Misunderstandings of interpretation, related to the terms "integration", "coordination" and "synchronization", and the interchangeable use of these terms reduce the precision of scientific argumentation, as well as complicating the exchange of ideas between management theoreticians and practitioners, including logisticians. The purpose of the considerations contained in this article is to identify the distribution of the frequency of the articles in the field in question, and answer the questions of whether these concepts are synonymous or mean different situations in a management context.
