MANAGING POLAND’S NATIONAL SECURITY

In the monograph, the author addresses the issues of management in the field of Poland’s national security, understood as the process of ensuring by the Polish authorities the conditions necessary for cooperation between the defence industry, the armed forces, science and politics. The author refers to the achievements of the systemic approach and decision-making theory. The work is a case study on the example of the application of multi-criteria methods: AHP, ANP, REMBRANDT, DEMATEL. The study involved 75 representatives of the defence industry, armed forces, science, politics and diplomacy. For each of the research groups, hierarchies of factors, subfactors and variants were developed and an analysis of benefits, opportunities, costs and risks (BOCR) was carried out in relation to management in the field of national security of the Republic of Poland. The respondents are experts and decision-makers, some of whom hold (or held) the most responsible public functions.
