Professor in Cracow University of Economics, head of the Chair of Tourism in the Faculty of Management there. Lectures in the area of hospitality industry, economics, and catering organization and marketing. His long-standing scientific interests focus upon problems of the role of catering in the food and tourism markets. Author of many articles and monographs published in Poland and abroad. Under his direction several research projects were carried out over the recent years in the area of business tourism, tourist base, religious tourism and determinants of consumer behaviors in the tourism market. Author and co-author of many publications, including Marketing w gastronomii (Marketing in catering industry, PWE, 2011).
