Symulator of estimation of equitable value of an enterprise, FV-model    http://www.jedrzejczyk.com.pl/FVmodel.xls

Equitable value is an economic category that has been introduced in both theory and practice of accountancy. It is an extension of the notion of market value. While it retains all the strengths of measurement of the market value, the parameter of equitable value makes valuation practicable also in cases where no active market exists for a given component of the equity of an enterprise. The category of equitable value was introduced into the balance sheet legislation, both international (International Financial Reporting Standards, US GAAP), and Polish (the accountancy act). By now it has become an essential element of valuation of positions in business entities’ balance sheets. The problem area of estimation of the equitable value has been the principal field of considerations Marcin Jędrzejczyk, PhD included in this book. Of particular importance in this context is the conversion of value performed in the process of consolidation of financial statements of supra-national capital groups. The analysis of dilemmas regarding the equitable measurement of growth of economies and comparisons of GDP per capita is complementary to the studies of equitable value on a microeconomic scale.
Due to an important role of proper and adequate valuation of a business entity (an enterprise) in ownership transformations, processes of mergers and takeovers, decisions concerning the stock exchange and using the fundamental analysis, the book is addressed to business practitioners specialized in valuation of enterprises, consolidation of financial statements, including those of international capital groups. The Author, Marcin Jędrzejczyk, PhD, also addressed it to students of accountancy and corporate finance in various types of universities.
