Associate Professor at the War Studies University, director of the Institute of Logistics at the Management and Command Faculty. Graduate of the Military University of Technology. His academic achievements are in the field of social sciences, in the discipline of management and quality, and security sciences. His scientific interests include the following logistic issues: logistic systems and processes; logistic outsourcing; logistic support of the army; logistic support of fire departments; management of logistic resources of the economic and defense system of the country. Author of numerous scientific publications in national and international journals. In his scientific research he mainly focuses on the determinants of integration of theory and practice of economic (civil) and military logistics, which is reflected, among others, in the monograph Outsourcing logistyczny w Siłach Zbrojnych Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej (Logistic Outsourcing in the Polish Armed Forces). Recently, his research has focused on logistics in crisis situations, resulting in his co-authorship and editing of a monograph entitled Logistyka w sytuacjach kryzysowych. Nowe wyzwania, dobre praktyki (Logistics in crisis situations: New challenges, good practices).
